BIOGRAPHY

Columbus, OH native. Lifelong angler and outdoorsman began fishing kayak tournaments in 2018. Beginning with local events thru the Buckeye Kayak Fishing Trail and MI-OH Kayak Anglers with the goal to qualify for the 2019 KBF National Championship. This goal was met with a 3rd place finish in the June 2018 Ohio State challenge and helped to stoke the competitive fire within. As the 2018 season wound down and tournament kayak fishing was proving to be an integral part of life, a second hand Hobie PA14 was acquired and set the stage for a deeper commitment to the sport.

The 2019 season incl...uded 22 out of state fishing license purchases, roughly 36,000 miles driven in support of kayak fishing and placing roots within the kayak fishing community. With a much clearer understanding of just how much there was to learn, rolling the lessons learned in 2019 into 2020 makes for a bright and optimistic future with success but also a deeper enjoyment than could have ever been expected.

Looking forward to 2020 and beyond while fishing from a Hobie PA14 360 and Hobie Outback. Competing locally with Cincinnati Kayak Fishing (CKF), Buckeye Kayak Fishing Trail (BKFT), Michigan - Ohio Kayak Anglers (MI-OH) series and GRBY – Grass Roots Bass Yakin.
