I began fishing from a kayak in 2007, when I bought a Pelican Getaway 140. No bells, no whistles; just two flush mount rod holders and one swivel rod holder. I still use that kayak from time to time, but spend most of my days fishing out of an original Jackson Kayak Big Rig or the new Big Rig HD/FD.
I am the founder of Massachusetts Kayak Bassin’ (MAKB), the biggest kayak bass fishing tournament series in the state. I am also a husband, father, Air Force veteran, obsessive music fan, writer, publisher, editor, and dozens of other things. My list of passions is as diverse as it is long.
