Growing up fishing it was only a matter of time before I got into tournament angling. I started off with the Bass Masters Weekend Series as a co-angler, but soon found out that it wasn't for me. I fished a few small boat tournaments on Lake Champlain and did decent. I joined the U.S. ARMY in the fall of 2009 and fishing took a backseat ride for quite some time. In 2015, I stumbled across some YouTube videos that really peaked my interest. Kayak Ba...ssin' TV with Chad Hoover. It was at that second my research began. It was that month that I joined Kayak-Anglers.com for my first event on Oneida Lake in Central NY. I was able to secure a 2nd place finish there and was immediately hooked (pun intended). Moving forward I discovered tourneyX.com, and the online world of kayak bass fishing. In 2016 I started what is known today as The NYKBF Tournament Series. It was an instant success. Over the course of 2016 and 2017 NYKBF has grown to new heights. Since the start of NYKBF, several series and clubs have joined the NY list of events, including LIKBF, ADK KBF, and Capital Region KBF. NYKBF recently hosted a KBF Trail event, over 120 register competitors and thousands of dollars paid to our anglers along with prizes.

I'm looking forward to sharing and growing within the KBF community, it is a very strong and humbling community!
