2016 KBF National Championship

Kentucky Lake, with HQ at Paris, TN
March 19th 7:30 am - March 20th 5:00 pm 2016,  Central • Multi-Day Tournament
Top qualifiers from across the nation converge on Kentucky Lake between the smallmouth and largemouth spawning peaks for two days of high-stakes competition.

Henry County Tourism Bureau and Paris, Tennessee merchants are putting a hog in the pit, pulling out all the stops, and rolling out the red carpet for KBF Members  who will invade lakeside communities for this event.

The Kayak Bass Fishing National Championship is the top freshwater kayak fishing tournament of its kind. It will have the largest payout, most added money and top competition from around the Kayak Bass Fishing Nation.

Eligible waters for the 2016 Kayak Bass Fishing National Championship, the Spring 2016 KBF OPEN, and the KBF-HOW Big Bass Competition will be Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley. Remember these landmarks:

 - Northern boundaries: KY Lake and Barkley dams.

 - Southern boundary: I-40 bridge over KY Lake

 - Eastern boundary: Mouth of the Red River just west of Clarksville

These are all just over 40 miles fro Paris Landing State Park, although we're not using a fixed radius as our standard for this event. Even so, this map will give you an idea of the size of these lakes and the waters you may choose to fish. Fishable water must be contiguous with (touching, connected with, backwaters of) Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley.

More details will be forthcoming, so keep an eye on Facebook and the KBF Website, atnd make plans soon to attend.
