This is a qualifying event for the 2021 B.A.S.S. Nation Kayak National Championship.

You must be a member of B.A.S.S. and also of an affiliated Ontario Bass Nation club to register for the event.  Please see the Ontario Kayak Bassmasters FB page for membership details.

LOCATION: Cooks Bay

DATE: Saturday Aug. 7 and Sunday  Aug 8, 2021

FEE: $100

REGISTRATION DEADLINE:  Aug. 5, 2021

START TIME: 6:00am (Lines in)

END TIME: 3:00pm (last photo accepted)

Launch Time: 5:00am

FORMAT: 5 bass limit per day (smallmouth and largemouth) – 12” minimum length  –  total of the two days combined length

SCORING: Tourney X 

PAYOUT:  The top 5 qualifying anglers or 10% of the field, whichever is greater, will recieve a 100% payout (after tournament expenses) in the form of equal subsidies towards assisting anglers to compete in the 2021 B.A.S.S. Nation Kayak National Championship to be held in the USA.  (date and location T.B.D.) 

BIG BASS: Optional side pot for big bass.  Total pot split and paid to big bass for each day of the event.

IDENTIFIERS: Released prior to the event

MEASURING BOARDS:  Hawg Trough and Ketch Board are the accepted measuring devices. No exceptions.

PREFISHING: Pre-fishing is permitted as per the rule set and is open until 5pm the day before the event

START TIMES: Participants can head to their starting destination at 5:00am but may not begin fishing until official  start time at 6:00am. ABSOLUTELY NO LINES IN THE WATER UNTIL OFFICIAL START TIME. 

LAUNCHING:  Boats may be launched at any legal and public launch site on the boundary waters.  Launching is not permitted from private launches or areas that require crossing private property to access. Launch must be available to all competitors whether free or pay   launches

Please note: Your registration indicates your acceptance of the Liability Release Form. Anglers under the age of 18 must download the "2020 Liability Release Form and submit the form, signed by a Parent/Guardian, prior to the start of the tournament.
