1st Place $540

Lunker of the Day $200

Plus Hourly Lunker  Money 15x30/8 hrs and Prize

If this Tournament has 30 Anglers or more, the top 10% will qualify for NC That's 3 Spots, No Roll Downs

In an effort to help those anglers who are not Qualified for The KBF National Tournament, RIKB has reached out to KBF and given permission to get more anglers in the RI and MA to qualify. So this maybe your last chance!

You must be a KBF member at the time of this event to Qualify. So sign up for membership before you compete in the Tournament.

Due to DEM Permitting, KBF agreement and have safety criteria we are going to fish at these locations only. This is our first on line event so it is a little different then one fixed location of things to responsable consider.

Lets make this a Great Event and invite all your fishing buds. A great event to introduce someone new to tournament fishing.

Registration:

After you register and pay via Pay pal, through TourneyX, you must send your location you would like to fish via Face book, messenger, to Ryan Bessell. 

Only full Name of location (pond, lake or reservoir) and Town according to DEM website will be accepted. Only requests directly to Ryan will be  accepted.  

Location Request and Location Placement
RIKB will award placement of locations from your request to Ryan Bessel. Requests are awarded one at a time using the time you paid for the tournament on PayPal.  First pay first serve basis.  Once a location is full 25 or 10, we will contact you for another choice.  No Refunds will be issued unless your top 3 choices are sold out. I don't anticipate this being and issue. However, you will be assessed the PayPal fees if any for a refund.

RIKB will post a Sold Out Awarded list and Available locations to fish throughout the registration time period. We will post on our Face Book Wall and in our Files doc Name Rhode Island On Line Open.

The Rules – Event and KBF

All KBF Rules will apply

We will also abide by KBF standard rules except for the 12” rule and the. 8" bass are submittable!

 Local Rules marked as * and may differ from KBF's Rules
Number and Size of submissions:

The top 5 fish will be culled for your final tournament total.
* 8” minimum size entry

All Fish must be submitted by 3 PM. No Exception, See Choosing a Location.
If you choose a location with limited Internet service, it's your choice and you must act accordingly to get your submissions in by 3 PM. Plus, if you choose a spot with bad internet you may miss out on hourly lunker all day. See Hourly Lunker.

Hourly Lunker

Photos of Bass and submission both time stamped must be within the same hour to quality for the hourly lunker.

In the event of ANY lunker tie, second biggest fish will determine lunker winner. If that's also a tie, it will continue to the next largest fish until a breaking of the tie is determined. If all the tying competitors' fish are ties then Hourly lunker will be awarded to the bass

Choosing a Location

Please be sure you choose a location with ample Internet service. You will be responsible to upload your submissions before 3 PM, No exceptions. If you are on a pond that has spotty Internet service, A. you may miss out on Lunker of the hourly payouts, B. You will have to stop fishing early go to a location with service to get all your submissions in before 3 PM. You may choose to fish a location with limited Internet service, however remember this Submission Rule.


Prefishing Deadline

October 11th at 6pm
We are setting pre-fishing time almost up to tourney time.  We are doing this to help you the angler to pre-fish your location for those out of state or those who work during the week.

Winners Awards

The Winners will be announced at HQ and on line as soon as all fish are verified. The Submissions will be turned back on Saturday at 7 PM for everyone to see.  If there are any disputes they must be submitted by Sunday 5 PM in Writing to Tournaments Co-Directors Ryan Bessell and RJ Alves. After 5 PM on Sunday Oct. 13 payouts will be sent to the winners via paypal. 

Headquarters or HQ

The location of HQ will be announced, once we have determined where the majority of Anglers will be fishing. This may be a difficult task but we will try our best to make it close to most of you.

At the End of Tournament an awards ceremony at HQ we will announce with the all winners. Take photos of the winners. RIKB will also provide refreshments and pizza for everyone. This after tournament event at HQ   will be an alcohol free event. 

Miscellaneous Tournament Rules 

* TourneyX Leaderboard will be turned off for the last hour of the tournament to make this more exciting! 

* Our Permits from the State of Rhode Island Expects:

You must launch from A Rhode Island DEM boat ramp or launch area. No Exceptions. The Competition area will be the Pond, Lake or Reservoir you choose. ANYWHERE you can go on these bodies of water without exiting your kayak is eligible waters. * Relocating from your Location awarded to another Location (pond, lake or reservoir) will be cause for Disqualification from the entire tournament, including any and all payouts or qualifiers. Judges can see where you are located.  * So, if you must leave that location for any reason, you must let one of the captains know and that will be end your tournament submissions for the day.

Anyone who has not fished with RIKB this year must sign a waiver. We can email that to you. Sign and return.
